2021 Nissan Rogue

There is a reason why the 2021 Nissan Rogue was named the Best Mid-Size Utility Vehicle in Canada by the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada. They know quality when they see it.
The 2021 Rogue is the beginning of a new generation for Nissan’s best-selling vehicle. Redesigned from the outside in and from the ground up, the Rogue starts 2021 off with a bang with all-new styling, technology, and performance. While before it was losing its edge to class competitors such as the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4, the 2021 Rogue is the picture of modernity, available in three model configurations starting at $28,498.

Design

The 2021 Nissan Rogue was created to have a more powerful appearance, which it achieves thanks to a boxier style and wider stance. With a broader look and feel, the Rogue projects a more imposing image as it tackles the streets.
Inside, the Rogue’s style was also upgraded to include a bi-level dashboard, which keeps all controls within easy reach of the driver. The 2021 Nissan Rogue added more passenger volume, which meant the loss of approximately 80L of cargo capacity behind the second row of seats. However, the Rogue’s cargo space is still on par with its competitors, and hidden storage cubbies provide additional storage capacity.

Performance

The 2021 Nissan Rogue continues to be powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine, but this upgraded version provides more horsepower–topping out at 181 horsepower and delivering 8.1 L/100km combined fuel economy. Front-wheel drive (FWD) comes standard on the Rogue, but all-wheel drive (AWD) is an option on all model levels. Both FWD and AWD pair well with a continuously variable automatic transmission.

Infotainment

The 2021 Rogue features the NissanConnect infotainment system, which provides intuitive user controls and vehicle info at the touch of a button. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard on all models, as well as an 8-inch touchscreen; however, a 9-inch screen, in-dash navigation, Bose stereo system, and 10.8-inch head-up display are available as upgrades.

Safety

Nissan is one of the leaders in safety and driver-assist technology, and the features available on the 2021 Rogue are evidence of that leadership. The 2021 Nissan Rogue includes automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.
The 2021 Nissan Rogue offers space, comfort, reliability, safety, and performance in a compact crossover that no one expected but everyone should check out.
