What’s New Compared to the 2022 Model?
This midsize pickup got some upgrades over last year’s version and a Midnight Edition version, which wasn’t available previously. This includes 43.18cm black wheels, black mirrors, and other dark cosmetic features.
Also, the SV Crew Cab gets the SV Convenience package as standard, whereas it was optional before. It has some exciting features, such as a heated steering wheel and front seats, spray-in bed liner and under-rail bed lighting.
Higher trims also get some features as standard now. For example, Lava Red contrast stitching is now part of the Pro Premium package.
Engine Specs and Drive
The Nissan Frontier is powered by a 3.8-litre V6 engine with a top-of-the-line 310 hp and 281 lb-ft of torque across all trims. It can tow a maximum of 2,943kg. It has a nine-speed automatic transmission fine-tuned for smooth shifting.
Fuel Economy and Capacity
All 2023 Nissan Frontier trims have a gas engine, and the tank has a capacity of 80 litres. The fuel economy is one of the highlights of this truck at 7.6 km/L for city driving and 10.2 km/L on highways.
Infotainment and Technology
Among the highlights of the 2023 Nissan Frontier are the 22.86cm touchscreen display, one of the biggest ones, which lets you make many hand gestures for different options. You can also connect your phone in order to use it with your apps, music, and messaging.
There’s also an available Wi-Fi hotspot feature, Nissan Door to Door Navigation with live traffic info and 3D buildings, Apple and Android integration, wireless charging, and a Fender Premium Audio System with 10 speakers.
Safety and Driver Assistance
There are many safety and driver assistance features for this pickup truck. It has a blind-spot warning, which detects vehicles in those spots, a 360-degree monitor view, a rear cross traffic alert, and a high beam assist. There’s also a lane departure warning system that buzzes the steering wheel when drifting over.
There are many automatic braking systems in place too. For example, rear automatic braking detects large stationary objects, while emergency braking detects vehicles and pedestrians.

There are many options to choose from, with both Crew and King cabs. At the time of writing, the prices are unavailable yet but are expected to be similar to last year, starting at around $40,000. We’ll have the Frontier S, SV, SV Midnight Edition, PRO-X, and PRO-4X.
