Key Specifications

What’s New Compared to the 2022 Model?

The 2022 Rogue had a major change over its predecessor, and that was the turbocharged 1.5-litre, three-cylinder engine. This year’s version continues with the same engine.

Moreover, the most noticeable change in 2023 is the addition of the Midnight Edition Package. This adds 45.72cm black wheels, exteriors, roof rails, and other features. Higher models also offer Alexa connectivity.

Engine Specs and Drive

There are two engines for the different models. Lower trims have a 2.5-litre DOHC, four-cylinder engine with 181 hp and 181 lb-ft of torque. Higher trims have a 1.5-litre VC-turbo engine with a great 225 lb-ft of torque. The horsepower rating is 201 hp.

Depending on the model, the drive type varies. All trims come with AWD (all-wheel-drive) except for the basic trim, S, which comes with a FWD (front-wheel-drive) option. The transmission is a CVT (continuously variable transmission) automatic, the same across all models.

Fuel Economy and Capacity

The 2023 Nissan Rogue comes exclusively with a gas engine, and the fuel tank’s capacity is the same across all models at 55L. The fuel economy varies slightly between trims. The basic consumption in the city is 9.0L/100km, and on the highway, 7.1L/100km.

Infotainment and Technology

There are many features available in all trims. These include a 20.32cm colour touchscreen, with higher trims having a 22.86cm colour touchscreen. There’s also NissanConnect services with a SiriusXM trial, Apple CarPlay integration, NisanConnect with a Wi-Fi hotspot, Android Auto compatibility, and much more.

Safety and Driver Assistance

Safety features are very similar across all models. They have the Nissan advanced air bag system, supplemental air bags for side-impacts across all seats, break-away engine mounts, tire pressure monitoring system, and Nissan vehicle immobilizer system.

The basic models have cruise control, and the higher trims offer ProPILOT Assist, which has advanced functions such as a stop and hold function. There’s also automatic emergency braking, which includes detecting pedestrians. High beam assist and lane departure warning are just some of the features present in all trims.

Trims and Pricing

The base trim, S, starts at $30,548. The most expensive one is the Platinum, which starts at $43,248. In between, there are other trims with varying prices, such as the SV, the Midnight Edition and the SL.
