So many people think that bigger is better when it comes to vehicles, but that is not always true. Sedans can offer just as much safety and much more fuel economy than some SUVs, and the 2021 Nissan Versa is here to prove it to buyers in Orleans and across Canada.
A subcompact sedan, the 2021 Nissan Versa appeals to budget-conscious drivers who want comfort, convenience, and safety without a massive price tag. The Versa was called the "Most Appealing Small Car in the U.S." by J.D. Power, and that accolade easily carries across the border to Canada as well. Myers Orleans Nissan offers the 2021 Versa for sale to drivers that want value, technology, and style in a sedan.
What's New for 2021
Nissa completely redesigned the Versa for the 2020 model year, so its style and systems are of the highest quality and are the most modern versions available. So, for 2021, the only change to the Nissan Versa is a slight increase ($100) in price compared to the previous model year.
Models and Pricing
Myers Orleans Nissan offers the 2021 Nissan Versa for sale in Ottawa and across Canada in three trim levels: S (in both manual and automatic), SV, and SR. The entry-level S model with a manual transmission starts at just $16,498, which is less than half the average selling price of a new vehicle. Yet, the Versa still comes handsomely equipped with many standard driver-assist features and a high-quality infotainment system.
For drivers that want a mix of value and technology, the mid-range SV is an option at $19,498, but the best value lies in the top SR trim. Starting at $20,998, it might cost a bit more, but drivers are able to get everything that Nissan has to offer, including 17-inch wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, LED headlights, passive entry, remote start, and smartphone connectivity. Drivers can also enjoy heated seats and adaptive cruise control.
A 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine delivers 122 horsepower to every model of the 2021 Nissan Versa. Only available in front-wheel drive, the base S model can be paired with a manual transmission, but the other models feature a smooth-riding continuously variable transmission.
The Versa is small but mighty with over 2,500 litres of interior volume to easily fit five passengers without issue. The trunk provides an additional 425 litres of storage capacity.
Drivers can enjoy media content through the standard 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system found on all models of the Versa. The SV and SR trim levels offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, as well as SiriusXM satellite radio.
For the price, no competitor offers as many safety and driver-assist technologies as the 2021 Nissan Versa. It comes standard with front and rear automated emergency braking, automatic high beams, forward collision warning, lane-departure warning, and more. Additional features, such as blind spot warning and intelligent driver alertness, are also available on higher-end models.
